Engineering & technology consulting

Complex systems.
Clear thinking.

We don’t solve complex problems by adding more complexity. Turnkey engineering and technology consulting for manufacturers: we study the whole operation and turn your improvement goals into systems that work.

02 / Start with what you own

The best technology is often
the one you already own.

Most plants own more capability than they use: controllers with headroom, a SCADA license nobody finished configuring, a historian collecting data nobody reads. The familiar pattern is to retain a large engineering firm, which brings in its partnered software vendor, which redesigns the process around its product. Two years later the plant has a new platform, a licensing agreement it can’t leave, and a dependency it never asked for.

We work the other way around. We start from the systems, licenses, and people you already have and extend them as far as they will honestly go. New technology enters when the process needs it, not when a partner program does. EA&ID holds no reseller, referral, or partner agreements with any software or hardware company. The only relationship we protect is yours: with your plant, your process, and the customers it was built to serve.

How we stay independent

What that means in practice

  • We assess the installed base before we recommend anything new
  • We extend before we replace, and we say so when replacing is right
  • If we recommend a product, you own the license, the source, and the vendor relationship
  • No bundled software, no exclusivity, no renewal you can’t walk away from
  • Our fee is the only money we make on your project

03 / How we think

A simpler operation.
A stronger foundation.

Whether you’re pursuing Lean, Six Sigma, or total productive maintenance (TPM), we help make it real with the right measurements, modernization, and practical AI.

The thinking behind the work
01

Understand the whole.

Map the physical flow, the constraints, the decisions, and the information behind them. Understand the operation before changing any part of it.

02

Refine what matters.

Make modernization serve the process. Capture the measures that support real decisions. Give AI a clean data foundation and a well-posed question.

03

Leave it maintainable.

Readable code. As-built documentation. Project files in your hands. Systems your people can understand, maintain, and recover.

04 / Grounded in industry

Built around
the real world.

Food processingPackagingPlant utilitiesIndustrial networks

Most of our work is in food manufacturing and the food supply chain, where production runs around the clock and controls span generations.

From a single panel retrofit to a multi-year migration, we work with the systems you actually have, with production as the first constraint.
